The Grateful Student Program

Grateful Student Plaque

Did a special teacher, administrator, secretary or other staff member make a positive difference in your education in the Danville Public Schools?  Would you like to honor them?   When you make a donation in his or her honor, a custom-crafted  Making a Difference lapel pin will be presented to your honoree. With a gift of $100 or more, the honoree's name will be placed on the Grateful Student Recognition wall.

Join our alumni in recognizing outstanding Danville District #118 teachers and staff members, past and present, in the Foundation's newly inaugurated Grateful Student Program.  All contribution will be acknowledged on the Grateful Student Wall at DHS and donation of $100 or more will honor the staff member and his/her grateful student on permanent plaques of varying sizes.  Did a special Danville teacher or staff member make a positive difference in your life?  Join your fellow DHS and District #118 alumni who are utilizing this new program to permanently acknowledge the positive impact of these extraordinary educators.

Cash Gift

The easiest and simplest way is to make a cash gift, in the amount of your choice to the Foundation.  These gifts are immediately available to further the work of the Foundation and to enhance students’ educational opportunities. You can also donate by credit or debit card.

Please click here to donate by card.

Memory Walk

For a donation of $100, your message will be engraved on a brick paver and added to the walkway just outside of the Clock Tower at Danville High School.  What a great way to remember your graduation or that of a loved one.

Estate Planning

Have you ever thought of leaving a legacy to the Danville Public School Foundation. There are several ways to do this.  A life insurance policy, a charitable gift through your will, or a gift of property or other assets. Your attorney can help you with this.

It isn't the size of the gift that matters, but the size of the heart that gives it.
